Bertch Legacy Kitchen Cabinets are Now Kind of Custom

There’s been something called Bertch Legacy Plus for a while now.  It’s essentially a few kitchen cabinets from their Custom line being added to a semi-custom kitchen designed with Legacy.

It was really handy for people who didn’t want to pay for a whole set of custom kitchen cabinets, but needed one or two “special” cabinets not offered in the Legacy line.

Until recently, a Bertch Legacy dealer ALSO had to be a Bertch Custom dealer in order to get one of these “Legacy Plus” orders, but this is no longer the case.  Now any Bertch Legacy dealer can get you the one or two (I’m not sure what the limit is yet) totally custom kitchen cabinets that you really need in the kitchen.

I’ve personally just gotten into it.  I have a kitchen where special cabinets for the island are needed.  They’re not available in Legacy, and there’s something only kind of similar to what I need in the Custom spec book.  Someone at Bertch said “if you can send a drawing of what you need…”  Oh, yes.  This will be lovely.

The cabinets will be in the vicinity of 40″ high, 18″ wide, 18″deep and essentially be kitchen split wall cabinets with a drawer on top. Most such cabinets have the drawer on bottom.  They’re kind of pricey; each of these cabinets is going to retail for $900, and I need three of them.

It beats paying for a whole custom kitchen though…
